Getting Started

1. Signing Up

To create an account, click the "Sign Up" button in the top-right corner of the header. A form will appear where you can enter your details. Choose whether you're a filmmaker or a festival manager.

2. Logging In

If you already have an account, click the "Log In" button in the header. Enter your email and password to access your account. If you've forgotten your password, you can use the "Forgot Password?" link.

3. Accessing Your Dashboard

Once you are logged in, your profile icon will appear in the header. Click on this icon to open a menu. From there, select "My Dashboard" to access your personalized area where you can manage your films, festivals, or profile.

For Festival Managers

Activating Direct Submissions

From your Festival Manager Dashboard, navigate to the "My Festival(s)" tab. Find the festival you wish to update and use the toggle switch to "Activate submissions on Afro Circuit". A pop-up will appear, prompting you to enter the minimum production year for films you accept. Once you set the year and save, direct submissions will be live.

For Filmmakers

Using Project Postals for Submissions

To submit your film to festivals accepting submissions directly on our platform, you'll need Project Postals (stamps). Each submission to a participating festival costs one stamp. You can purchase these from your Filmmaker Dashboard. All payments are securely processed by Stripe.
